Childhood is.........

Childhood to me is spending time with kids and grandkids.......I still spend time with mine, big as they are. And the pleasure of spending time with your grandkids is great cause you can spoil them and seeing their eyes light up when they see you. I just love it :)

Decluttering

Well not much has happened with this.... have been trying to get rid of stuff, but we always seem to find bargains!!!! So it goes on......
Elijah has been staying here for a wee holiday - he is such a good boy. He sleeps well at night, as for eating he is more of a grazer. We have been lots of places, visiting, shopping. Riding his motorbike round the yard! And the porch. Nicki reads him a bedtime story and he picks the book. Then he's fast asleep till about 6.30.
We took him for a walk after work today to see the horses and play with the soccer ball.
Nicki will be taking him to kindy tomorrow and then he'll be home with Mum and Dad after kindy.
Will update with some pictures when Kelly shows me how to, pictures of the Decluttered Rooms!!!

First post....

In February this year, we moved into a 1860s original homestead in Auckland. Having recently been redecorated, we started with a clean slate. However, it didn't take us long to fill every room. Our goal now is to declutter and gain some much needed recreational time back.

Cluttered home = cluttered mind

That probably explains why things never get finished. Some of the things I enjoy and would like to do more of include sewing, knitting, going out for coffee, and going for long walks. I would also like to spend more time with family (even though my 28 year old daughter and her partner are living with me) and perhaps go on another cruise.
